Hey adventurous souls, are you ready for an exhilarating journey through Madeira's stunning landscapes? Lace up your boots, because the hike along the Vereda do Larano is, in our opinion, one of the most beautiful on the island. A true outdoor paradise!
We will pick you up at one of our meeting points either in Funchal city center, Lido or Caniço. Vamos!
Get-Together with a view
Off we go to Machico, where we have a short get together at the Miradouro Pico do Facho (1) to explain the day's plan. Of course not without a hot cup of strong coffee. Power for today!

Vereda do Larano: let's hike!
From Machico, it's time to conquer the hike that awaits on the Vereda do Larano (2) - and first we have to go upwards. A lush green environment awaits us, cows and goats on the way and the sea always behind us. On we go, always along the cliffs and with spectacular views. A little hunger? We got you. We have prepared a small picnic with local snacks and will find the perfect spot to enjoy it.
Arrived: Porto da Cruz
High five, because we have reached our destination Porto da Cruz (3)! Look forward to the charming village on the coast, a salty sea breeze and a local specialty: rum! Because our next stop takes us to the rum factory, right next to the surf spot of the village. We learn about the production and of course a little tasting is waiting for us - and we wouldn't be Heartbeat Madeira if we didn't have a well-deserved local Poncha on today's hike. Cheers to us!

Cheers to new memories: back in Funchal
The day is coming to an end and we're making our way back to Funchal. But the adventure doesn't have to end here for you! We'd be happy to recommend our favourite poncha bars for a perfect end to the day with your tour buddies.
